I'm Nikita Khatsarevich, a director of photography based in Paris nowadays!
Growing up in a small industrial town, I pursued my passion for film by studying at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. My journey in the industry began at the age of 16, starting as a 2nd AC and gradually working my way up to 1st AC, camera man, and eventually director of photography.
I'm also a huge fan of Unreal Engine soft!
I often use this tool to prepare for my projects. It helps me understand beforehand the size of the location, the amount of light needed, and even which lens is best for each specific shot. I believe it's a game changer in the film industry!
